Announcement
For the last while we've been quietly building something we wish already existed: a simple home for real-life groups. No feed to perform for, no algorithm deciding who you meet — just the people near you who like what you like. Knot is almost ready, and we couldn't be more excited to share it.
Somewhere along the way, the internet stopped bringing people together and started keeping them apart. We have a thousand followers and no one to grab coffee with. We scroll past strangers' lives while the people two streets over — who'd happily go for the same hike, join the same book swap, kick the same ball — stay invisible.
Knot exists to fix that. It's the app for finding your people offline: the gardening club, the basketball pickup, the plant swap, the Sunday hiking crew. You find your knot, you show up, and the app gets out of the way.
The internet's greatest failure is making people feel more alone. The fix is embarrassingly simple: just go outside — together.
No ads. No algorithm deciding what you see. No engagement traps designed to keep you scrolling. Knot is free because community shouldn't have a paywall, and quiet by design because the best moments happen away from the screen.
We're a small team building this carefully, and we're listening the whole way. If you have thoughts, questions, or a story to share, we genuinely want to hear it.
